What is a Blessing Box?

A blessing box is a small, community-driven structure typically placed in public areas or neighborhoods to provide essential items and non-perishable goods to those in need. These boxes are often stocked with items like canned food, hygiene products, clothing, and other necessities. The concept behind our blessing box is to provide for the needs of those in the neighborhoods around our church. It's a simple yet powerful way for us to show the love of Christ to the neighborhood and make a positive impact on those facing economic hardships.

Why is it necessary?

No matter how many support services are provided to those in need there will always be those who fall through the cracks. The Blessing box is not meant to provide for every need of every person in our community. But instead it is intended to offer small simple everyday blessings to anyone and everyone who comes in contact with it. “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink.” -Matthew 25:35
